Irish Soda Bread

For St. Patrick's Day we make all the usual fixings.  So I told Kylie she could help me make the Irish Soda Bread.  It is kind of fun for kids.  She asked me if we need soda because we don't have any. I told her no there is no soda in it and she looked at me perplexed and asked. "Why do they call is Irish Soda Bread then?"  I replied, "I am not really sure."  She laughed and said, "It's like Taco Bell - they sell tacos but it is not a bell! Doesn't make much sense to me."  

I just love this kid.  I needed a good laugh today.
